HA GIANG TOUR ITINERARY 3 DAYS 4 NIGHTS:

DAY 2: HA GIANG – QUAN BA – YEN MINH – DONG VAN (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER)

07:00: Check out, have breakfast and get on the car to start the journey to conquer the Ha Giang Stone Plateau. On the way, stop at the following points:

  • Check in Ha Giang at Km0 of Ha Giang.
  • Bac Sum Slope: take photos and enjoy the scenery on the 8km long slope.
  • Quan Ba ​​Heaven Gate, take photos of the Fairy Twin Mountains, also known as Quan Ba ​​Twin Mountains, and the panoramic view of Tam Son town from above.
  • Take photos at the Lonely Nghien Tree – Can Ty, Quan Ba ​​on the new Quan Ba ​​- Yen Minh route.

Noon: Have lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to visit:

  • Tham Ma Slope – the slope that people used to assess the health of pack horses.
  • Pho Cao with typical H’mong houses surrounded by stone fences.
  • Doc Chin Khoanh – the famous winding slope
  • Visit Sung La village (Lung Cam cultural village) to visit the ancient house of the H’mong with earthen walls – the place used as a setting for filming the 2006 film “Pao’s Story” by director Ngo Quang Hai, adapted from the short story “The sound of the mouth harp behind the stone fence” by writer Do Bich Thuy, which won 4 Golden Kite awards.
  • Vuong family mansion (Dinh Vua Meo) is located in a valley of Sa Phin commune, this is the richest and most powerful family in Chau Dong Van in the early 20th century. The group learns about the architecture, art, history and culture of the Vuong family (King Meo family).
  • Visit Lung Cu Flagpole – the northernmost point of the country, the point with the highest latitude on the map of Vietnam.
  • 18:00: Arrive in Dong Van town. Check in hotel, rest, have dinner. In the evening, the tour guide will take you for a walk to see Dong Van Old Quarter, which has existed for nearly a century. You can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee at the Old Quarter Cafe (at your own expense). Overnight in Dong Van.

DAY 3: MA PI LENG – NHO QUE RIVER CRUISE – HA GIANG (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER)

Morning: You will have breakfast at the restaurant. If you arrive on Sunday mornings, you can visit the famous Dong Van market with its bustling vendors selling colorful clothes of the H’Mong, Dao, Tay people…
08:00: Check out of the hotel and get on the bus to continue the journey with:

  • Conquer the 16km long Ma Pi Leng Pass connecting Dong Van with Meo Vac, which is also the most beautiful section on the road named “Happiness Road”.
  • Take pictures with the majestic beauty of Tu San Gorge (also known as Ma Pi Leng Gorge or Nho Que River Gorge) at an altitude of 1500m above sea level and an average depth of 800m – the most deeply divided terrain in Vietnam.
  • Go boating on Nho Que River: Take a boat upstream of Nho Que to Tu San Gorge, the deepest gorge in Vietnam located on Nho Que River. Nho Que River flows into Vietnam from Seo Lung village, Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, passing through Tu San Canyon, running along the foot of Ma Pi Leng pass (not including the cost of Nho Que River boat + shuttle car: 200k/guest for 10 or more guests; 250k/guest for less than 10 guests).

Lunch: Have lunch in Dong Van. After lunch, you will continue to get on the bus back to Hanoi. On the way, visit Lung Tam Brocade Linen Weaving Village. Learn about the Mong people’s linen weaving culture as well as experience the 41 stages of creating the product. You will wear traditional costumes and take souvenir photos.
17:00: Arrive in Ha Giang. Then, depending on your pre-registered options, the car and tour guide will:
– With the option to return by Limousine (seat): The car will take you to the Limousine to get on the bus back to Hanoi. Have dinner on your own on the way back (dinner fee will be covered by the limousine upgrade fee). Arrive in Hanoi around 00:00 – 00:30. End of the 3-day, 4-night Ha Giang tour program.
– With the option to return by sleeper bus or Cabin: The car and tour guide will take you to dinner. Then return to the Homestay to rest and wait for the bus. At the appointed time, the car will pick you up at the Homestay and take you back to Hanoi. The next morning, around 03:00, you will arrive at Noi Bai airport, and 04:00, you will arrive in Hanoi. We will have a shuttle bus to take you back to the Old Quarter and the Opera House or to the nearest point for you on the drop-off route (if notified in advance).

TOUR PRICE INCLUDES:

  • Transportation Hanoi – Ha Giang City – Hanoi sleeper or double cabin. (Customers who want to upgrade to a single cabin will be charged 100,000 VND/cabin/trip)
  • Transportation in Ha Giang:
    – Car from 5 to 29 seats (depending on the actual number of guests on the departure date) for car tours
    – Motorbike with driver, or self-driving depending on your choice when booking a motorbike tour
  • 02 nights in a private, closed-room homestay or a local 1-2 star hotel, sleeping 02 people/room (odd number will sleep 3)
  • 06 main meals, meal price 120,000 VND/meal
  • 03 breakfasts at the restaurant with bread, vermicelli, pho, rice rolls or vermicelli with grilled pork depending on the day
  • Entrance tickets to the places in the program (except for the places to take pictures of flowers grown by local people)
  • Local guide to pick up and drop off and serve the group in Ha Giang
  • Drinks served on the car for 02 days in Ha Giang, 01 bottle of 500ml/guest per day
